One 100 graduated glass cylinder with stopper; one Bab- cock pipette; one white cup. Reagents.—Farrington Alkaline tablets. Making the Test.—Dissolve 5 tablets in 97 water in the glass cylinder. As these tablets require about six hours for com- plete solution it is advisable to place the tablets in the water in the cylinder on the evening before the day when the solution is to be.
