Microscopical examination: Tumor consists of fibrous tissues rich in nuclei;the fibers are more or less concentrically arranged around a central portion,which consists of non-striated mus-cle fibers with bands of fibroustissue running between the center is definitely outlinedfrom the surrounding fibrous tissuesand is evidently the round liga-ment. The specimen shows every-where groups of small canals linedby one layer of cells; these areprobably lymph spaces. The speci-men is poor in blood vessels. Diagnosis: Fibroma of roundligament. I have operated upon one caseof adeno-myoma of the round liga-ment, one of the rarest of the tu-mors of this region. The growthis benign, and its clinical featuresin no way differ from fibroma.
