The Chateau de Vaux-Praslin or Vaux-le-Vicomtey a gorg-eousstructure of the 17th cent., lying 3V4 M. to the of Melun, togetherwith its immense park, cost Nicolas Fouqnet, surintendant des financesunder Louis XIV., the sum of 720,000^.
