CAVALIER 23 An attractive variety of short topped Scarlet Globe; primarily for forcing in greenhouse or frame. Top about 1' shorter than standard Scarlet Globe; root olive-shaped, bright scarlet. Celestial (Chinese White Winter) ... 60 Root large, 8' long; 2'-3' in diameter, cylindrical, with heavy shoulder; flesh white, rather mild in flavor. Chartier (Long Rose) 35 Root 7'-8' long and 1' thick; bright rose color on the upper part, shading to white at the tip.
