On the 14th of June,1832, he was wedded to Miss Mar3 Ladu, in Can-andaigua, N. Y. Mrs. Taylor was born in Liv-ingston Countj-, N. Y., Februar3- I, 1817, and isthe daughter of P^zekiel and .Sarah (Bunker) Ladu,who were also natives of the Empire State. served as a soldier in the War of 1812, andsubsequently drew a pension from the Governmentuntil his death. In the meantime, in 1837, hecame to Michigan, and located in this county, onwhat is now known as the Xoon Farm, near iMich-igan Center.
