Note the tongue-shaped shadow along the fissure, extremely dense, with mottling in bothlobes, above and below this area, mistaken for tuberculosis by notedspecialists of Saranac and Ashville. The mediastinal shadow is wide, butno evidence of malignancy of the pleura or pericardium, as shown by thenegative shadows for effusion.
