It is a very pleasantvillage, in the most delightful part of Wind-sor forest, and some wells in the neigh-bourhood, neatly litted up, are much fre-quented during the summer season. Hereare many handsome villas. It is a curacy,in the gift of St. Johns College, Cambridge. Sunning well, a parish in Hormerhundred, Berks, on the banks of theThames, 2 m. N. from Abingdon, and 57from London, containing 52 houses and227 inhabitants. A part of this parish issituate on the opposite side of the river.
