Monday 23rd Today we decided to drive a few km to Port Blanc where you could get a ferry to Isles au Moins. We were given a tourist map of the Morbihan which showed a coastal footpath and a road right up the centre. It was the most glorious day with a total blue sky and temps in the high 20's. The views of the Morbihan from the island were amazing; beautiful little sandy coves made us regret we had not taken swim wear. The island seemed elastic as distances seemed to stretch; problem being we had no idea of the scale of the map. In total we reckoned we walked 16km. Feeling very tired when we got back to the quay for the ferry we treated ourselves to unmanageably large cornets. As soon as we returned we went for a swim in the pool to relax some of the tired muscles.
