Crozy last year we have selected the 6 varieties enumerated below as the most distinct and handsome. All are desirable additions to our list, and we fully endorse each one. Depute Kavarin. A pretty and pleasing sort, with good-sized, deep, garnet flowers, a shade lighter than the favorite Alp. Bouvier, which it much resembles, except that the truss of flowers stand erect and is much larger ; height 5 to 6 feet. 35 cents each. Jo-seph Combet. This is a rich velvety cardinal, very brilliant; flow- ers of good size, habit dwarf and compact, about 3^ ft. 35 cts. each. Mme. Favrichon. A most prolific flowering sort, growing about 4 feet high ; flowers satiny-carmine, with a peculiar orange sheen ; distinct and desirable. 35 cents each. Mme. Leon Leclerc. This is one of the oldest colors introduced this season, the ground color being a bright orange-scarlet, with a heavy tip and narrow margin of yellow on each petal. The plant grows about 5 feet high and produces its good-sized spreading flowers very freely in branching heads. Entirely distinct from anything yet sent out, and a valuable addition to any collection. 35 cents each. K. Pearson. Golden-yellow ground, dotted with innumerable light red spots, the spots being much more numerous than in any other vari- ety ; flowers of about the same size as Flo.
