Staff Sgt. Anthony Bauder, senior drill instructor, Receiving Company, Support Battalion, welcomes new recruits of Kilo Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, to the depot during receiving at Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, June 13. From this point forward, these recruits will eat, sleep and train as a team and begin their journey to become United States Marines. Annually, more than 17,000 males recruited from the Western Recruiting Region are trained at MCRD San Diego. Kilo Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 9.
