“The Tide” elevated walkway connects North Greenwich subway station to the eastern banks of the Thames was Designed by London-based Neiheiser Argyros and New York–based Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS&R) The walkway is suspended by 28 Steel tree-like structures and provides a view of artworks that include the bright geometric patterns of Morag Myerscough that cover the airvents of the underground station, the giant red ‘Head in the Wind’ of Allen Jones and Damien Hirst’s ‘Mermaid’
