On September 26th these exudative spots were drying up,but there were one or two shotty papules about the wi-ists. On September 29thmost of the spots had di-ied up and the eruption was disappearing. In this caseI at first thought the eruption might be a very mild one of variola. But inaddition there were some slightly purpuric erythematous lesions on the legs, and the history of the case was as On September 22nd the patient hadcomplained of the erythematous lesions and pains in the lower extremities andhad been given a medicine containing pot. iodide, gr. v, three times daily. It. Fig. 4.—Gi-anulomatous iododermia. Case 5. was three days later when I first saw her with the above-described eruption onthe upper extremities. The urine was free from albumin and sugar and theWassermann reaction was negative. For an umbilicated. somewhat varioloidappearance of iodide lesions on the face of a cachectic man, aged 27 years, suffering from advanced tertiary syphilis of the pharynx, etc., see Tilbiu-y Foxscase figured in the eleventh volume of the Transactions of the Clinical Society ofLondon (1878, pi. iii, coloured). Case 4.—A woman (K. S—), aged 36 years. The photograph (Fig. 3), forwhich I was indebted to the kindness of Dr. Block, shows a severe granulo-matous iodide eruption, notably on the arms, from the use of potassium iodidein 15-gr. doses (April, 1902). Case 5.—A girl (L. D—), aged 14 years, of whom I have the photographreproduced here (Fig. 4), showing granulomatous nodules and swelling of thetongue and lesions o
