The TS Queen Mary seen here in Greenock, is one of the oldest Clyde built steamers in the world. She has been saved from the scrapyard, and now sits further up the River Clyde near Glasgow awaiting restoration and repairs. A charity has been set up to do this, backed by the Scottish actor, Robbie Coltrane. It will be permanently berthed on the Clyde and used as a educational and entertainment centre. A great ship returns to the Clyde, the home of her birth all these years ago in 1933. Date; 2018.
