DSC 03161. A lovely old church stands proudly on top of the Lincolnshire Wolds. The Viking Way passes through the church grounds. The Rambler's Church, as it is best known in Lincolnshire over looks the village of recorded date is 1172 and ceased to be the Parish Church in1881. In the period from 1931 - 1939 was used as a centre for pilgrimages by some Church societies and by hikers and cyclists in Lincolnshire. The ramblers and cyclists played a major part in the upkeep of the Church. In 1950 the Grimsby Wayfarers Association gave a fine stained glass window depicting walkers and cyclists.
