Under this name probably one or more potters have worked in Central Gaul, at Lezoux and in Eastern Gaul, at Pont des Rèmes and at Trier, in the period between about 120 and 200 AD. On the inside of the bottom two graffiti are applied, for baking the plate (so-called 'ante cocturam') (?). The text of the first graffito is a quotation from the Aeneis of Virgil, book II verse 1 and the first word of verse 2. Incidentally, in the graffito the word conticuere is misspelled, namely. as contiguous
