It doesbetter for spring than for fall; should besown in November. Succession. This cabbage is of recentintroduction. It resembles the GermanBrunswick, but not quite so large, and is ofsame season. It heads up very regularlyand uniform; should be planted same timeas the Early Summer and Brunswick for aspring crop. All Season. Not exactly new in our section, as it had been tried years ago byMr. Norbert Trepagnier, and pronouneed byhim to be a good market variety. The heads are id solid, globular. shape, the ribs pinkish and not quite asthick as of the Superior Flat Dutch. Willstand heat and drouth better than anyother variety. Stecklers French Market Winter. This is a new and fine strain of an immensewinter cabbage grown on Long Island. Itis one of the most uniform heading vari-eties ever brought to this- market. Theheads are larger than the Crescent CityLarge Late Flat Dutch, very solid, darkgreen in color, and matures as early. Finefor shipping.
