The carnation supply is so large that at the time of this writing there seems to be little chance to move it all. Only the best and freshest of the stock is finding a ready sale and on that the prices are hammered down to a low point. Both Easter lilies and calla lilies are offered in quantities, but at the best they have only ordinary sales. Some smaller bulb- ous stock is coming in, but not in large quantities. Sweet peas are again in good supply, but only the best of them meet with any steady call. The valley cut is rather limited. Those that come in are taken up. Other offerings include snapdragon, stocks, iris, pansies, forget-me-nots and the like. Various Notes* We are glad to report that R. Witter- staetter's condition is greatly im- proved. C, E.
