The Trig is not as prepossessing in appearance ashis cousin, the drug store beetle, hut like the bed bug,of which he is a minute imitation, he may get there justthe same. The illustrations presented herewith show avery large magnification. They show the most notice-able characteristic of the insect in the retractile headwhich is located under the thorax or chest, like thespiders.
