In the floodplains of Sava river in Croatia the agriculture still remains as it was everywhere in central Europe in the medieval period. With much of the area now being converted into a nature park there is still some illegal gravel stripping. Die Flussauen der Save werden von den Bauern noch heute so bewirtschaftet, wie es im Mittelalter überall in Mitteleuropa üblich hier längst ein Naturpark eingerichtet ist, gibt es immer noch illegalen Kiesabbau.
