A 2nd model 1815 sabre for enlisted personnel of the Gardes du Corps du Roi,(King's Life Guards). Slightly curved blade à la Montmorency,with the maker's inscription on the back of the blade. The inscription "Gardes du Corps du Roi",fleurs-de-lys,and trophy bundles are etched on the obverse side which also bears the acceptance stamp,while the reverse side is etched with the sun,coat of arms,and more martial trophies. Gilded brass hilt in relief,worn by cleaning. The knucklebow bears the Bourbon coat of arms. The maker's mark,"Versailles",and acceptanc,Additional-Rights-Clearences-Not Available
