The old heathenname given by his parents was laid aside, together withmany of his old habits of life, as betting, gambling,going to shows and theater plays. He would spend nomore time on these hurtful and useless amusements,now that he knew of the better things concerning sal-vation and an eternal life. He took a new name, ChunYee (preaching righteousness), to represent his newintention. There was a great commotion in his home villagewhen the people heard of the change in this youngmans ways and of the new name he had taken.
