The new growth may,to a certain extent, presentthe appearance of sarcoma;under these circumstancesthe tumor is a mixed one, andmay be called a gliosarcoma;at present the term gliosar-coma is in disrepute, and Ibelieve deservedly so; it isextremely doubtful if the twoneoplasms are in any way re-lated, or are ever of the brainoccur with less frequency than the gliomata.
