King Friedrich August II of Saxony (1797 - 1854), a set of 18 silver plates from the royal Saxon table silver Made by royal Prussian court jeweller Hossauer, Berlin ca. 1850. Silver with scalloped and gadrooned edges. On the border a finely engraved Saxon coat of arms beneath a royal crown. The bottom of each is punched "Hossauer Berlin", "14 Löth" and a Berlin bear punch with master's mark "L". Also numbers between "No 13" to "No 132" as well as mark of weight "3 Mk 1 Lth".
