The Alai Darwaza is the main gateway from southern side of the Quwwat-ul-Islam Mosque. Built by Alauddin Khilji, 1311 AD. The gateway is decorated with carvings of geometric patterns and calligraphy on white marble bands. It is built in red sandstone & White marble.
