View NE of the pre-Conquest W tower of the Former Church of Holy Trinity, Colchester, Essex, England, UK, built largely of re-used Roman brick. Three stages with a pyramidal tiled roof & a W door with a triangular head. Early-mid C11th, formerly attached to a church of c 1000, the rest of the present building is mainly C14th & C15th. Restored 1886, it was made redundant in 1956. When photographed in July 1993 it was owned by Colchester Council & being used as a Social History/Rural Life Museum. It subsequently became a youth/art centre & cafe. The lease may have been taken over by MIND in January 2018.
