Little Mermaid Statue in Folkestone Kent

This bronze statue by Cornelia Parker was designed as part of the Folkestone Art Festival and is modelled by local resident Georgina Baker. It is based upon the famous Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen, but in this case artistic licence has been exercised as the Folkestone mermaid does not have a tail.
