London, UK. 20 May 2016. Volunteers prepare the 5000 Poppies Project at RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The poppy display honours all servicemen and women who have fought across all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations over the last 100 years. More than 300,000 handcrafted poppies were made by 50,000 contributors across the globe . Founded by Verena Tucker and Sara Davies, the handcrafted poppies raise funds for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. The display will be in place for the duration of the 2016 Chelsea Flower Show.
