The birth of the Ligier JS P2 in 2014 concretised the return of the Ligier name to endurance and the Le Mans 24 Hours. The Ligier JS P2 powered by the three engines homologated in LM P2, Nissan, Honda and Judd, has won many races in the hands of Ligier Automotive's clients. After sealing the LM P2 title in the FIA WEC in 2015, the following year the Ligier JS P2 scored outright victories in the Daytona 24 Hours, the first time for a French manufacturer, the Sebring 12 Hours and the Petit Le Mans.
