EXHIBITS OF ELECTRIC STORAGE BATTERY CO., STANDARD PAINT CO., STANLEY ELECTRIC MANUFACTURING CO. AND GOLD CAR HEATING AND LIGHTING CO. delegates witnessed an actual demonstration as to its advantageson Larned Street Friday afternoon. DALLETT & CO., Philadelphia, dealers in new and second-hand material, showed a sample of a G. E. 1000 motor, a numberof which they have for sale. THE GREAT WESTERN SMELTING & REFININGCOMPANY, Chicago, was represented by Nathan Alper, whoexploited the XXXX nickel babbitt and copper hard babbitt. THE FEDERAL MANUFACTURING COMPANY, Cleve-land, represented by A. J. Johnson, showed the Federal trolleypole and the Johnson trolley retractor. The device draws downthe trolley pole full 15 ins. below the line whenever the trolleywheel leaves the wire. The device attracted much attention.
