He was with the Russell& Erwin Manufacturing Co., New Britain,Conn., 1901-03, as chief engineer in chargeof power and plant and of changes and ad-ditions in boiler, engine, electrical installa-tions, etc. During 1904 he became manager of theWashington Electric Vehicle Tran
