Preserved Collett tank engine 4144 in green livery arriving at Highley station on the Severn Valley Railway in Shropshire on 1st August 2019.


Built in 1946 by the Great Western Railway, tank engine 4144 is currently visiting the Severn Valley Railway on loan from the Didcot Railway Centre. Seen here at Highley station it is working the 13:10 from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster on Thursday 1st August 2019. The fireman is leaning out of the cab ready to exchange tokens with the signalman as passengers wait on the platform for the arriving service.
