The women are cutting leaves for making baskets. The live in Oenpelli: Oenpelli ( Kunbarllanjnja or Gunbalanya) is an Aboriginal community in west Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia. Oenpelli has a community-owned art centre called Injalak Arts and Crafts. This art centre displays and sells artworks produced by local Aboriginal community members. This includes bark paintings, baskets (fibre art), wooden artefacts, screenprints and more.
