Therefore, Totsuka was known for its large number of inns and restaurants. In this print Hiroshige depicts a rice shop where a weary traveler is being greeted as he dismounts from his horse. This important print is from an early edition; later versions show the traveler getting on the horse, instead of dismounting.'
