The junction between Strastnoy boulevard and Large Dmitrovka street of Moscow. Craftsmen and merchants from the city of Dmitrov, which is situated nor far from Moscow, used to live and work along Large Dmitrovka street. They were displaced later to settle down in a new place a bit farther from the Kremlin because of the urgent necessity to house the nobility around the Kremlin. You can see the Kremlin tower in the background.
