The Ryogen In Zen Temple is a subtemple of Daitoku ji which consists of a complex of 24 subtemples. Located in north western Kyoto, it is one of the quietest temples in the areas, and several of the subtemples are in secluded locations. Daitoku ji is a good location for examining the Zen culture.
