Visitors to the Mast Brothers chocolatiers in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York

Visitors to the Mast Brothers chocolatiers in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Mast Brothers produces artisanal chocolate beginning with the imported beans, which they use 100 tons of each year. The brothers originally started their business as a hobby and it has grown into a 3000 square foot factory-retail space in the trendy, foodie neighborhood of Williamsburg. A recent study has been launched using "chocolate pills" containing coca flavanols, which are thought to improve blood pressure, cholesterol, heart related illnesses as well as host of other health problems. The pills separate the enjoyable aspects of chocolate, no sugar or fat, from the healthy aspects… they won't taste like chocolate. (© Richard B. Levine)
