In1910 Mr. Shute succeeded Walter McFarland as acting vice-president, which position he held until his election as Shute is a member of the American Institute of ElectricalEngineers, the National Electric Light Association, and theEngineers Club of New York, and is also a director of the Pitts-burgh Chamber of Commerce. Pneumatic Tools.—Circular V of the Independent PneumaticTool Company, Chicago. 111., is a four-page pamphlet in whichthe drills and hammers manufactured by this company are il-lustrated and brief specifications given as to the capacity andservice for which they are designed.
