They accommodate themselves better to shady situations than any other fruit; indeed, partial shade seems to be just what they require. The demand for this fruit is not so great as that for other berries, but it is growing fast. Six to eight quarts per bush is a fair crop, but we have grown â -as many as three pecks on a bush of the Houghton. DowningâThe largest of the American varie- ties.
