Sir Alan-Henry Seton-Steuart of Allanton and Touch, fourth baronet,born 1856, educated at Eton and Pem-broke College, Oxford. As heir of line ofthe Setons of Touch, Sir Alan is here-ditary Armour-bearer and Squire of theRoyal Body in Scotland to the 5th June 1883 he married Susan-Edith,eldest daughter of Sir James Clerk ofPenicuik, The genealogical position of thepresent family of Touch is shown in theannexed table :—. Archibald Seton,10th of Touch,= Barbara, daughter and heiress of Alexander Hunterof Muirhouse. James Seton of Touch,d. unmarried, 1742. Elizabeth Setonsucceeded her brother. =Hugh Smith, who assumed thesurname of Seton. Archibald Seton of Touch (paternally Smith), died unmarried, 1835. Lilias Seton=Sir Henry Steuart, Bart., Elizabeth-Margaret Steuart, =succeeded her maternaluncle and assumed thesurname of Seton. Sir ReginaldMacdonald, Bart.
