Rossio Square, Lisbon, Portugal.

Praca Rossio has been the nerve centre of lisbon for six centuries. The square was formerly called Praca de Dom Pedro IV, first emperor of Brazil. His statue dominates the square. In the mid-19th century the square was paved with wave-like patterns of grey and white stone cubes creating an optical illusion for which the square was nicknamed "Rolling Motion Square".
