John Finley wasa farmer in calling, and in 1788 purchased of JamesBarclay, a brother-in-law, the greater portion of atract of land called Mount Pleasant, the warrant forwhich was taken out Dec. 3, 1787, by John Wall, whosold the property to James Barclay.
