Kazuto Miura, headmaster of Keitenkan Dojo in Akishima city, founded Yokota Kendo Club and started to teach kendo on base. Yokota Kendo Club and Keitenkan Dojo hold summer camps together annually; this is the sixth time the summer camp has been held on base.
