Plaster cast of a patient's lower jaw with with a bar-retained denture fitted. Abutments and metal bars are inserted into the jawbone for denture attachment. Clips on the denture fix it to the bars and secures it in place. This treatment tends to be more supportive as the bar is taking some of the chewing load.
