PACIFIC OCEAN (Dec. 2, 2016) Sailors assigned to USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) participate in a small arms qualification test held on the flight deck of the ship. Crewed by 147 Sailors, Zumwalt is the lead ship of a class of next-generation destroyers designed to strengthen naval power by performing critical missions and enhancing deterrence, power projection and sea control objectives.
