Residents of Victoria Square celebrate VE Day by having a social distance party on the garden developed by the late Trevor Jones who sadly passed away last marks the 75th anniversary of the end of World War 2 where Britain and its allies defeated Nazi Germany. Due to COVID-19 this year’s celebrations had to adhere to social distancing measures implemented to protect the public after deaths within the county rose to above 30000.
