A death wrestle. Masai Mara, Kenya: THE INCREDIBLE moment a cheetah rides on the back of a topi like a bronco has been captured. One image shows a cheetah on the back of the topi, swinging round its neck like it is playing buckaroo before taking it down by the neck from behind. Cheetahs are the fastest running land animal, accelerating from 0 to 75 miles per hour in seconds. These images were captured by photographer Jeffrey Wu (56) on the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya, using a Nikon D850 camera from 90 meters away. ?We followed a coalition of five male cheetahs known as ?Tano Bora?, which means?Amazing Five? in Swahili, for five days,? said Jeffrey. ?They made multiple attempts to hunt, finally on the fifth day, they hunted a male topi. ?I love the tension between two species fighting for life and death. ?I remember my heart was almost pumping out of my chest when I watched the whole thing go down in my viewfinder. ?I try to capture these wonderful moments in nature to bring awareness of the importance of conservation. mediadrumimages/JeffreyWu
