A test rifle Dörsch & v. Baumgarten system Cal. mm, no. 393. Rifled, bright bore with good rifling, length cm, on upper side forked sight of Hessian shape. Chamber on the right marked "System von Doersch", on the left "& v. Baumgarten". Dark full stock with brass mounting, iron butt cap and iron cover of butt chamber. Iron cleaning rod. Stock somewhat dented. Length 136 cm. This weapon is similar to an infantry rifle which was in trial service in the electorate of Hesse-Kassel.
