"Dahlia catalogues," says Mr. Clark, "as a rule are more or less typographical puzzles," on account of the difficulty in finding therein the name of any desired variety. Therefore, instead of dividing his stock into groups according to type, he has nrrnnged the entire collection in one continuous alphubeticui list, attaching an abbreviation to the name of each variety to In- dicate the class to which It belongs. A con- densed wholesale list also is enclosed.
