Battle of the Geddington Volunteer Fire Brigade at the annual Geddington Squirt, where the volunteers are pitched against professionals from the Kettering Fire Brigade in a battle of the brook. An oil drum on a wire is squirted by fire hoses across Geddington Brook, Northants. This year the volunteers won by 4 to 1.
