Catholic Reverend Cherian Thalakulam has been in charge of St Edward Church since 2001 in Murphy VIllage. Murphy Village, North Augusta, South Carolina is a community of around 2000 Irish Travellers who settled there in the late 60s. They bought some land, following the advice of Catholic priest Father Murphy who also had a catholic church, St Edward, built in Murphy village.
